Hate to say it but Lamar Jackson is better than Cam already.

Lamar is good, with his speed and agility the dude is like a WR playing QB.  But I feel like getting hurt is just a matter of time when QB do a lot of scrambling.

I agree, Lamar Jackson has been MVP material since Week 1 this season. I gambled & drafted him around 8-9th round fantasy draft along with Mark Andrews & Mark Ingram. Been piling up points big time.

But he was totally different & green last season. In the NFL, players (especially QBs) can go from average to MVP within one season. Big chance he'll go back to average next season once teams have more film to watch of him & Greg Roman leaves. That's just how it works.

Yes, Jackson has been spectacular. But I wouldn't compare him to Vick & Cam just yet. Dude's only been around for < 2 years.

Dude, you had to know you were going to get flamed when (how dare you?!?) comparing any QB to Cam Newton, especially a black QB who can run and throw. Cam Newton could literally replicate Jake's January 2009 performance against the Arizona Cardinals for an entire 16-game season and there'd still be nobody as good as he. 

Trust me, I know this scenario well. A full 2 years before the JR poo hit the fan, I was pumping the brakes and telling anyone who'd listen that the beloved and revered owner of the team wasn't as deserving of the pedestal this fan base put him as they thought. I got flamed constantly, and never said anything, not even after the sh!t hit the fan.

So, relax, sit back and watch. Sometime next season you should be able to say, "I told you so," if you're the kind of guy who does that. Or you can simply gloat in your own way and bask in the glory of prognostication righteousness.

The press, refs and a lot of players never really took to Cam because of his in your face bravado. Here showed zero humility and that rubbed many the wrong way.

No one is doubting he is having a great season. The point I was making is you dont measure greatness off one season.  And no no one has ever gotten into Canton off one season... what are you talking about. Chris Johnson has had an amazing season rushing for 2000 yards and nobody is screaming caton for him. Slow your role on enshrining guys in their first year of productivity. No one bases anything off one season. Could be a blip. Just like people say Cams mvp season was.
