Hate to say it but Lamar Jackson is better than Cam already.

I told my family before the game if you'd can stop Jackson's legs, you can stop the Ravens.

They didn't actually stop his legs---they did when it mattered---but they kept him off balance basically all night long. He looked perplexed and befuddled for most of the night. Vrabel called a good game. I think Jackson is good, just not great. He may get there one day, but he isn't today. And he certainly wasn't as good as Cam when Cam was at his best, and I'm not sure that he ever will be. He's going to have to become a better pocket passer.

Can Newton hasn't been good since 2015 and has never won back to back seasons. Maybe I will give him that respect you so passionately seek when he at least stays healthy and wins back to back seasons. Or is that too much?

We went to the playoffs in 2017 though and would have won if Funchess wasn't garbage, another gettleman pick. He was a mvp candidate before the shoulder injury in 2018. So explain how he ain't been good since 2015?

Lamar Jackson won't finish his career as the NFL all-time leading rusher for a QB .. Cam will, because he is only 1,300 yards from it and has years left to play

Let Lamar have the single-season rushing for a QB record - his longevity in this league is going to be poor

Jackson is a gimmick player. Jackson is not even close to comparable to Cam give me a break.

365 yards in the air and 143 on the ground.  The dude had 508 total yards by himself. Without adding the rest of the stat line you’d think he probably passed for 4 touchdowns and rushed for at least 3 more.

But either him or Baltimore put the entire game on his shoulders and that’s what did him and them in.

Rushing their first two years.

Cam Newton - 1,447

Lamar Jackson - 1901(with 9 games he didn’t play in 2018).

If he stays healthy for a few more years Lamar Jackson is going to take the all-time rushing QB record.

Yeah .. Jackson is going to blow up next season .. he can't pass .. stats lie - he's a bad NFL passer

I mean yeah it hit him in the hands, but it was sort of like a lot of Cam's high throws that got tipped and picked. It's easy for either side to argue it. Either the protection forced a high and hard throw or it was simply too high and hard and something Lamar needs to learn from. Same with Cam. Either way, the result was a throw that was too high and it lead to a pick. I will say that a couple sacks were due to Lamar trying to let things develop, from what I could tell and the protection just broke down on him. Down in the game in the second half with an offense that is struggling unless he's got an open man or room to run, can't blame him. A LOT of similarities between Cam and Lamar in that department. Lamar will be fine as long as he stays healthy and the team around him continues to improve.

That was a dropped pass. STOP

I mean Jackson hit him in the hands and he deflected it up instead of catching it. The Titans took away Ingram (who was battling some injuries), but I feel like Jackson played better than people are saying that’s all. You could tell they were rusty from not playing in 2 weeks. Resting starters the last game is definitely a double edged sword. The strip sack was a great play and Vacarro made a great read on his INT. Vrabel is a great coach too. I mean he just knocked out the Pats and Ravens on the road rusty or not. The Titans offensive line had a great push most of the game.

The thing I noticed is something I notice with Cam and Luke (this year for the first time)---his frustration was visible.   As a leader, you really try to control that.  There are a lot of variables--I see your points.
