They both share the same OC I like to mention. Now look Lamar may turn out great, but what you and many Panthers fans don't understand is how important coaching and a system is. You wouldn't know about that cause the Panthers never had a great coach or system.

It also depends on teams. The 49ers normally suck ass and collect picks for years then hire a good coach to get them to the Super Bowl with lots of talent. Then jettison everyone after that. The Ravens however are always in contention. This was Lamar's first full season and he is still the MVP of that season. Yes his team lost, yes he made rookie mistakes but he still is learning. Came went 7-9 his second year and lost just like Lamar his 3rd. Even with a better team that 3rd year and a better defense and offensive weapons. Sorry but he's better at this point in his career.

Cam has only not choked one year. If you consider the Broncos not cheating in the SB he choked then too. Poor example...

Can Newton hasn't been good since 2015 and has never won back to back seasons. Maybe I will give him that respect you so passionately seek when he at least stays healthy and wins back to back seasons. Or is that too much?
