Hate to say it but Lamar Jackson is better than Cam already.

Lolll, yeah im sure the guy who was crowning kyle allen the next tom brady, will ever have a chance to bask in "prognostication righteousness"

I don't keep track of people's posting history, but there were a lot of high profile talking heads gushing like schoolgirls over Kyle Allen, too.

He’s in a better situation but not better overall imo. The offense he’s in doesn’t require him to shoulder everything. He has a great line RB and a bounty of options to throw to. All those early round TE’s people were wondering why they kept drafting are a stalwart in the offense. Running out of that power formation and not knowing who is blocking and who is a pass catcher gives him time to run or pass easily. Harbaugh has set him up for success something we haven’t been able to do for Cam. I envy him having a legit coaching staff and front office and hope we can soon have competency there also.

They both had had 1 exceptional year. Lamar did it year 2. Cam did it year 4. But Lamar has such a better cast all around him.

Conclusion: impossible to say.

Lamar went 7-1 his rookie year with a roster not built for him. That was an exceptional year. He is 20-3 as an NFL starter in 1.5 years. Nobody has anointed him. But we can at least recognize what he has accomplished so far is amazing given the projections of the highly paid "loud mouth" experts.

And in those 8 games he threw for 58% completions and just 6 TDs.  Winning and losing is a team stat. Citing wins and losses for a QB is like doing it for a pitcher in baseball. You could have an awful game at QB and be the reason your team isn’t pulling away but your defense picks you up and you win 3-0. The QB gets a “win” despite being the clear weak link. It’s a flawed stat.

just like if he dominated and his team scored 42 points but his defense gives up 45 he gets a loss.

Use context.

The same team that was 4-5? I'm sure when people will tell you how many yards and TDs Brees, Rodgers, Rivers and even Manning have thrown for, they won't tell you ... they have only won 1 SB (manning was lucky to win a second and Rivers has never been to one).

Stop fooling yourself. Flacco had the same team ... and went 4-5. Without training camp, Lamar turned it into a 7-1 team ... oh yea It was all about the team. Wake up ...

I can't think of a single NFL player, who has turned a 4-5 team in a 20-3 team. Not even in the whole history of the NFL.

Because no single players has done it yet..

This is the ultimate team sport.. Wins and loses aren't a individual stats..

You are going to hurt yourself trying to stretch like that.
