Unfortunately the pissing matches will likely only continue as long as the same posters are trying to control every conversation about this by littering the same regurgitated takes in every thread about how he isn't coming back as if they have a crystal ball.

The poster who likes to refer to everyone as kid is the main culprit.

The reality is no one knows even Tepper and Newton. But as Tepper said if we don't have the basics down it really doesn't matter much. Our Oline needs to block better and our defense needs to tackle better. The rest will fall into place.

As inconsistent and at times utterly woefully inadequate as our offensive line has been, we have been in position to not only win but score plenty of times this season. We need a coach with an eye for talent, and we need a QB who isn't going to only further hamper our iffy OL by either missing wide open receivers or moving right into sacks by holding the ball too long. Truthfully in these blowout losses we dug ourselves a hole through both OL play and lack of good decision making by the quarterback. Even with our run defense being swiss cheese we still had opportunities to compete.

I'm willing to give him a chance but is anyone else worried that our owner is in the news almost as much as Jerry Jones? Plus he seems to be making decisions that GMs normally make. Maybe he'll be less visible once he puts his staff in place.

Nope, this is the time to be vocal and to make your mark.  Once the organization is in place, he'll be quiet like he has been for the first 18 months.

For the sake of argument, if our defense this year had been a top 10 scoring defense (Ron Rivera, defensive genius, amirite?), even with our offense being what it currently is, we'd be on average winning by a field goal.  Every game.

On the flip side, if our line could block enough to get 1 yard, we'd be 9-4.

Just saying, as bad as the team is right now, we are not miles off from being competitive.

Anyone else catch the sheer irony of this?

Quote

Near the end of the Art of Coaching documentary that aired Tuesday night on HBO, Patriots coach Bill Belichick grouses to his old friend, Alabama coach Nick Saban, about technology taking hold of everything around him.

Yeah, technology is everywhere. Like, for example, video cameras...
