Bigger than the questions of his resume or his clock management is the elephant in the room that was his deteriorating relationship with his franchise quarterback that ultimately led to his ouster and a resurgence for the franchise the year after cleaning house. That is the biggest determining factor to me that tells me we should look elsewhere.

Aaron Rogers, while extremely talented, is also widely regarded as a uniquely insufferable asshole.

It's worth noting, or should be noted that Rodgers himself has debunked any of the so-called friction between he & McCarthy in multiple media outlets.

Denied is not debunked.

We know that players and coaches are famous for obfuscating and even lying to their public when it is to their advantage to do so.

However, what we know for sure is that Rodgers is an insufferable asshole.

Not sure why Aaron might have spared McCarthy of his famous vitriol, but admittedly it is possible.

I'll give you that.

But 10 wins are 10 wins. He's a winner. We're pretty much the worst team in our division right now. Jerry Richardson's team full of choir boys mold is what got us into this. Do you want to win with an asshole or two or do you want to be the worst team in our division as we are right now?

Rodgers wanted to play for the 49ers, Mike was OC in San Fran, they drafted Alex Smith

Multiple people from green bay said Aaron never let him live that down, he fell in the draft so he was mad about it, and then a guy from the team he wanted to be on becomes his head coach, he never respected Mike

He can say it but there is years of evidence that says otherwise. Things caught on the sideline and quotes that cant be negated by a politician like denial.
