Guys I like for this team

Going to post some guys I like per round for this upcoming draft who id think will be available in our range and a good fit.

1st:

Justin Herbert- people are going to freak out, but the kid is good. Most of the people who would be angry with this pick haven't watched more than 1 Oregon game.  Herbert's stock has fallen because of 2 thing.  First, the field.  Burrow and Tua (if healthy) are 2 pf the better QBs to come out in a few years.  Secondly, more film.  Rarely, does a kid maintain the hype.  The more film gets out to people the more people nit pick.  Heck, while Trevor Lawerence is The guy for next year.  People have began to nit pick him since his peak hype at the end of last season.

Herbert still has a Size, solid athletic ability, with a Cannon arm.  Now some people question his accuracy and touch.  But he is a better than Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson coming out.   Herbert is also said to be a Great locker room guy and leader.  Hebert reminds me of a young Big Ben coming out who was Teppers QB in Pittsburgh.  I expect the next HC to be a offensive guy as well potentially Mike McCarthy, who was a solid QB coach.  Pairing those 2 together would be a nice step forward with the new regime.

1st: Derrick Brown- Monster

Brown WOULD have been a 1st rounder last year, even in that stacked DT class.  We are hurting a DT.  Our MLBs are getting Blockers hammering them without being touched from the OL.  Our run D is bottom of the League.  And our only 2 guys signed for next year are aging vets coming injuries on IR.  1 of them is probably going to be cut leaving us with 1 DT on roster.  Brown has the versatility to play NT OR 3-4 DE.

1st: Jedrick Wills- THIS is the year for OTs.  There are 3 guys in this class who are better than any OT to possibly come out the last 3 drafts.  Wills is the 3rd OT in this class.  He technically played RT for Bama but, thats the blind side for the Lefty Tua.  With Wills, you could move Moton to LG.  Moton has struggled a bit out at OT and may be best going forward at OG (where most draft people had him positioned coming out)

1st: Ceedee Lamb- ive said all along that this is the best WR class in a Looong time.   Lamb would be a top 5 player in many drafts.  But he may be the 3rd WR drafted in this draft.  Samuel, by now, we know isn't a #2 WR.  But is capable as a #3 slot speed weapon.

A trio of Moore, Lamb and Samuel in 3 WR sets.  Watch out.

Id still take 1 of the DL/OL ahead of him.  But if Herbert, Brown, and Wills are off the board.  Id take him.

Think Deandre Hopkins with Lamb.  SMOOTH route runner, deceptive speed, long arms, ELITE hands.

1st: Grant Delpit- this kid had top 5 hype coming into the season.  People were tabbing him the best DB to come out of DBU in a while.  Even giving him the tabbed #7, that no DB at LSU has worn since HoneyBadger and Patrick Peterson.

Delpit looked like the total package a year ago.  Terrific ball skill, good tackler.

This year his tackling has taken a step back.  Between this and the rise of other at other positions.  Delpit's stock dropped.

Our Biggest need isnt FS, as the DL and OL are atrocious.  We dont know what the future is at the most important position at QB.  But FS is still a need. The Gaulden reach experiment was a flop.  And we had to pull Boston off the WFNZ set during camp just to find a starting FS.

Delpit wraps up the list of guys id like staying put in the 1st

Trade down 1st: Creed Humphrey

Again OL is still a train wreck.  Humphry is a versatile athletic Center who is rising.  Paradis, Hurneys big signing from this year, has been Horrid.  Paradis has been The worst Center in the entire league.  While we want be able to cut Paradis, you could play over him.  Like we did with Matt Kalil.  Another option is playing a rookie Center at LG, which GVR opens up hitting FA this year.

2nd Round Trade Up:

Raekwon Davis-

did I mention we need DT's?!  Raekwon is a giant freak.  Davis plays the 3-4 at Bama ans has the ability to play NT or 3-4 DE.  Davis reminds of former Bama DL and current Redskins start, Da'ron Payne.   Just like Greg Little and a few OTs projected to go in the 1st round falling.  Hurney could fall in love and move up.

2nd:  Jeff Gladney-

Bradberry is still not signed yet, Jackson isnt looking like he is more than a #3 CB

This CB class is also a Strong one.  That means talent will fall.  One of those is Gladney, who I think would be a top 15 pick in some classes.
