Grier was drafted in the 3rd round as a quarterback for the Carolina Panthers.

If we can't even give him some reps in the final few games then we basically wasted a pick because we have zero confidence in him.

agreed.  the only reason you keep starting kyle allen now is if grier has been so bad in practice/the film room you know that he can't possibly handle anything thrown at him.  which I have trouble believing.

to be fair it could simply be the panthers know grier is better and would ruin their chances at a full tank job lol.

Guys, it's pretty simple Cam>Allen>Grier.  Putting Greir in all but signals a tank job.  Fine, do it, but I don't think the organization wants to project that image.

Grier could get people interested in watching the games... Otherwise we just see Allen turn the ball over a bunch only to score some points in the 4th to make the score respectable.

I'd rather see what Grier has.

I don't think Grier is a savior, but I am curious to see what he has given the season is done and we know what Allen has (which ... is nothing spectacular ... )
