For Igo and everyone else putting Cam on another team next season

No no no. You’re mixing what you want to happen with what you believe will happen. Common sense will not be accepted.

I mean even if you wanted to trade Cam, you'd want to see him as healthy as possible to get your biggest trade value. The REAL hope of a franchise QB would garner multiple first round picks from a team that needs one.

Pretty much.

"We'd like him back healthy, but we'll also listen to trade offers" isn't exactly an unequivocal statement.

And as mentioned, teams that are trying to trade a player don't tend to say "look, somebody just take this guy off our hands".

You said:

"I don't know whether Newton will be here next year or not. I do know there are significant factors working against it."

What are those 'factors"?

They have actual credibility. You don't.

So you consider non-local reporters are credible when it's convenient but otherwise only trust local coverage....lol.

Name one MVP player who a team shipped just because he wanted a "fresh start"....

@Mr. Scot So your twitter insiders saying he is gone are correct but the ones saying no are wrong? Strange can you explain why you believe the ones who say it’s done and he’s gone vs those who say he isn’t. Thanks in advance

@Jeremy Igo Of course Carolina wants him healthy, but why would we give him up for any less than a king’s ransom? You keep saying it but never give why you think we will. We can either get a lot for him and trade him, get a little for him and trade him, or keep him at an average salary and see what happens. Why would Tepper for as smart as he is pick the worst scenario in those situations? Serious Question? And it can’t be because of a holdout because that works against Cam not for him.

The Panthers Facebook page anytime his name is mentioned says otherwise.

I think he meant on here. There are a few loud ones, but not many.

You're 100% correct though. I have a lot of family and co-workers who were ready for a "real qb" when Kyle showed some initial promise. Pretty hilarious to disregard 7 years of a player carrying the franchise.

I would kill for a healthy Cam right now. The question has and still is can he get back? I'm 100% willing to see what he's got next season at this point though.

I’m never on Facebook so I can’t speak to what happens there. My statement was derived largely from my experience as an in home sales rep who has done over 1300 appointments in the region in the past 5 years, many of them in more rural areas.
