Bottom line hasn't changed. People I trust believe Newton won't be here next year. They acknowledge that could change, but they don't expect it to. So basically, until I hear different from them, I don't either.

Those people have spoken for themselves in this thread. I find them credible for the same reason you'd find any source credible, they've been right many times before.

And believe me, that's a far more reliable standard of judgment than whether or not I like what they're saying.

Ideally, he wants to see what Cam does next year---then decide on a contract moving forward.  However, if Cam is not progressing by certain dates of significance, he could go either way.  Something about this still does not pass the smell test.  Just seems weird.

Except it‘a not at all. You are presenting opinions rooted in “potential” heresy as fact. 
 

5 million people could say they heard Cam won’t be back or Cam will be cut NONE of them are right unless it happens and unless one of them is the guy who makes the call that’s all it is. 
 

You find certain people credible but that still doesn’t mean they are right why can’t you understand that? Is it that hard to believe not everything the people you worship say is correct? You are basing everything you say on “this guy said it could” and “this guy hears this” NONE OF THAT IS FACT. Just like nothing on the flip side is fact, so stop acting like it. 
 

Right now all options are on the table, but stop trying to discredit the other side when you have no tangible evidence besides “guys you believe” that’s the part you need to grasp. I don’t care what you think and I don’t care what any insider says whether it be a true insider or a made up twitter account or anything of that. I care what Tepper says, hell I don’t even care what Cam or his camp says because Tepper is top dog in all of this and no one knows his thoughts directly.

How does he heal?

How does he think?

Is there a QB in the draft they grade well?

Is this QB obtainable?

Other FA QBs? 

How do other  teams view Newtion?
