OF course we play to win. That's why they play the game in the first place. The lions or rams would love to have 3 wins right now, and they don't play to lose. If we do even make the playoffs, it would be an awesome accomplishment from where we started this year and really speaks about this team.

I selected B. If option A happens, I don't believe any changes will be made. Fox will still be here. Delhomme would still be here. And mediocrity will continue. The change of staff and QB may or may not bring immediate success, but I'd be more willing to go through those growing pains till we eventually find the right combo to bring us success CONTINUOUSLY and not just every other season. Sticking with what we have now will no way bring us a Lombardi Trophy.

Short of NFCG or SB I want to see a change regardless. I am tired of Fox ball and especially after the loss to the Bills last week shows me that they just have no F-ing clue what the hell they are doing. At this point they are riding their talent (with the exception of QB) to a mediocre to sub-par record.

That said, I will NEVER pull for the team to lose even if it means that we finally get rid of "it is what it is" and Jake.

Never hope for failure and change, because there's no guarantee that the change will be for the better.

Nail on the head.

Detroit, Oakland, San Francisco, Cleveland, and St. Louis. These teams all got losses and big changes. In fact, they have each been in drastic change mode for 4 or more years; how's that working out for them? Only San Francisco is beginning to emerge from it as a soon-to-be contender.

You better be a true fan if you vote failure and big change. Because if we tank and get a new coach and a new system (without the benefit of a first round pick, might I add) then you are in it for the long haul.

i just want to win.

if i had a choice between being one and done this year vs. not getting in the playoff but having positive change that makes this team stronger down the road then i am going to look at the bigger picture.

what if the choice was to win this year but never get a ring or to the superbowl again or lose this year but become highly competitive and consistently considered a legit superbowl contender yearly with a ring or two in the next few years?

could you sacrifice this year if it meant creating a dynasty?
