A Cam trade that makes way too much sense and I’m shocked it hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Giants hire Rivera, we trade Cam to the Giants for their draft pick and move to a top 3 pick in the draft. Makes sense for everyone involved. We get a top 3 pick to draft Cam’s replacement, Giants get Gettleman,  Rivera, Cam and Shula all back together again. Eli retires and Daniel Jones gets more time to learn on the bench. Not only do the Giants get a potential franchise QB in Cam for at least a few years, there would literally be no growing pains since Cam probably knows Shula’s offense better than he knows himself. Oh and Cam would be a HUGE draw in NY and would fit in perfectly there.

If Cam can play why would we trade him? If he can’t, why would someone give a first for him? Why would the giants want to reorganize a losing team together AND pay us a first to do it? Why would they do it when Gettle is probably getting fired? Why would they try and assemble an aging team instead of fully rebuild when they’re in a great position to do so?

This idea was so great you don’t understand why anyone didn’t think of it? I refuse to believe you’re that incredibly stupid and regard this as a troll thread and a failed one at that.

Top 5 my damn asss. Cam was throwing fuggn dump offs to CMC and screens to Moore/Curtco. That’s why his completion percentage looked so good. Watch the games and quit reading stats. Rookie

(i) Bingo...

(ii) ...bingo...

(iii) ...and bingo.

Your 1st and 2nd questions really do boil the issue down to its most simple form and I have yet to see anyone provide logical answers to either question.

I did watch the games.

Did you watch the Philly, Cincy, and Baltimore games?

Cam was a stud last year and the year before that. I would say his only off year since 2015 was 2016.

Yes I did. Cam looked like crap until the 4th qt of the Philly game. In case you forgotten. Bengals game? Lol. Baltimore was the only game he played well. And one of TD throw was an acrobatic catch by CMC

If you think you are going to get a first round pick for Cam, given his recent injuries I think you would have to look at teams with multiple firsts.  The Raiders, Dolphins, and Jaguars are the teams in that situation.  Of those three, arguably the Raiders are the only team that would feel they are close to the playoffs (whether they are or not is irrelevant) and may want to make a splash with the fans, as they relocate to Vegas.

I could see the Chargers, if they think Rivers is pretty much kaput.  I have not seen them play to have any idea about that, other than he is going to start looking like George Burns out there in a year or two.  But I would highly doubt they are going to dangle a first round pick unless they have seen evidence Cam is healthy and can hold up for a full season.  Bringing in a guy to get you over the hump doesn't do much good if he is not around at the end.

Which gets me back to Cam being here and showing his stuff next season.
