Luckily for the rest of the league, there's no evidence the Patriots gained any benefit from this particular case, and they're hopefully going to suffer a very harsh penalty for it.

If this is really an isolated thing to the CLE-CIN game, I doubt it'll be a severe punishment, unfortunately.

I'd say the chances of this being an isolated case because the Patriots felt they needed an extra advantage against the Bengals is about zero.

The league does still have to find proof of course, but they're investigating.

And did so in a way that just coincidentally happened to benefit the team that was paying them for their services?

Do you really believe Belichick would participate in something of the nature you are suggesting against the 1-win Bengals?  Guessing you also jumped to the conclusion Kraft was going to prison for the rest of his life for popping into a rub & tug on a Sunday morning....LOL.

A - Don't teams get full recordings of everybodies games for game film?  Real question, do they have to record it themselves? Or does the league send out footage of all games to each team with the sideline cropped out?

Are there actual rules against taping certain parts of the field during a game where everyone's every move is already being watched and recorded?  Or is this just bad sportsmanship.

They get the All-22 which is the endzone shot(generally) showing the entire field. Not the coaches.

I believe Belichick would cheat in a game of tic-tac-toe against his mother.

Brings to mind a line from the iconic Buffalo Springfield tune For What It's Worth....

Oh, I agree.  That is why I am skeptical this was a deliberate intelligence-gathering operations.  Mind you, I doubt this would have prevented Belicheck from using whatever he gained.

But we'll see.  If it turns out it is just the CLE-CIN game, I don't think a HUGE amount will come from this, but they need to do something regardless IMO.

Which reminds me of that famous George W. Bush quote, " Fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. Fool me... You can't get fooled again!"

Are you this dismissive because it's the Bengals or because it's Belichick?

Need I remind you only one of those 2, Belichick or the Bengals, has been caught cheating on more than one occasion in the past.
