were there indications in practice or preseason or his two games that it was less than 100%? if not i'd say an added full year of rest means it's absolutely as good as it's gonna get.

That being the case, if Tepper "moves on", that tells us all we need to know about Genius Tepper.

He stated himself it was very sore after game two.

A sore shoulder after only two games looks like it won’t make a full season. The shoulder is absolutely still in question.

Yeah but feet are weird. He may have been favoring it in certain ways. We really don’t know. It just seems like there would have been reports like “hey cam doesn’t look good throwing to the right side in 7 on 7s” especially with the spotlight being on his shoulder so heavily.

i just hope he can play regardless at this point because the nfl is better with Cam in it.

Me too. I'd love to see Cam back healthy and playing at a high level. Just doubtful that happens.

A bum shoulder would start fine in OTAs and gradually get worse with each rep. To my eyes something was clearly wrong with his shoulder during the regular season. If it was the foot it would have had an effect all over the field. But it only looked bad throwing in one direction. That is far more likely a shoulder issue. Anyone who has had shoulder issues can understand that. Some motions are great, others are painful.

I can’t say definitively that if it was the foot it would be happening all over the field. I’ve had foot injuries and was a pitcher in college. You compensate in weird ways and it affects certain throws.

But let’s say what you’ve said is correct. Now imagine a coaching staff that was asking him to throw 40-50 times a game knowing that. Because if you see it, then they HAVE to have seen it.

Yeah, that would require a coaching staff oblivious to injuries and refusing to acknowledge them and adjust.

It would be easy and popular for me to rah rah cam is coming back, that would get far more traffic and clicks also. That is the news people want to hear. Everything I have heard though says the opposite, that Cam is likely not going to be here. Hell, the whole Cam struggling to throw right info came to me from someone within the org then I went back and checked it out. Seems to be something to it.

If Cam is back I will be the happiest person on this board. Believe me. I'd rather assume he won't be based on all the info available to me that way if he does come back it is a miracle. Don't really want to get my hopes up with so much info saying the opposite.

I posted yesterday that it’s probably best for Cam’s long term career if he plays for another, more stable franchise. Look at what Lamar is doing with that Ravens oline and they have similar skill sets.

Well, just wait until the real poo storm. If Cam goes elsewhere he will probably look healthy into camp and maybe even the regular season. This place will go bonkers. But if what we are hearing is true his arm will start to fall off as the season goes on.

Yep and I said that as well. But not just this place, Tepper will have a fanbase mutiny.

Lamar Jackson has a similar skill set to what Cam used to have. Cam will likely never be 2015 Cam again. If he is, it may not be for more than a year or two. I would love if Cam came back healthy and could stay that way for all of 2020 but I don't see it happening either and regardless of where the fault lies for his injuries, the team as an organization cannot live in the past.

so, what you are saying is, Bill Belichick will not make a move at this point...

Damn I was listening to WFNZ yesterday and they had Damien Lewis on there and he was going off on people about Cam. He said he will be healthy and we will pay if we don't sign or keep him. He said he is top 3 in QBs and he has another 12 years to play. I was like damn are you freaking crazy. I'm sorry but people need to realize that Cam is not coming back.
