Most of y’all aren't seeing the big picture. He’s right. They called an all out blitz at the 7 fuging yard line and Ryan had almost 6-7 seconds to air it out. He was 1 on 1 50ish yards down the field. Not many corners could’ve hung with anyone that long let alone someone there’s no tape on or expectation to catch a ball on a play like that. You guys are so quick to call out a guy like him but let an Olsen or a Kuechly slide on a ‘bad play” what a joke.

Sometimes you all out blitz. No better time to give it a shot than in the situation this team is in. You see what your players got. Jackson couldn't cover then cried about it. He failed twice and the second failure is most telling about him. His future is seeming pretty uncertain

Gettleman drafted Bradberry in the 2nd and Hurney drafted Jackson in the 2nd.  Gettleman took a chance on a fundamentally sound corner, but with pedestrian speed  from a little known college.  Hurney simply goes to DB-U and finds the fastest guy on the squad.  Any questions?

I mean, we run too much zone to where corners don't know how to play man.    He's garbage, but he's not wrong.

But let's talk about this team generally.    This is a terrible tackling team.    All around.   Even Luke has fell off.    It's like the coaches forgot to practice the basics in the off-season.

Anybody want to remind him it was an UDFA who's first catch came against him on that play? Would hope he could cover that guy one on one.  He's always been a risk/reward type guy, but there's been a lot of dogshit mistakes this year on his part. Starting to think Donte is a "surprise" trade this offseason.

You’ve clearly never played the position a day in your life

1. Donte has a point.

2. Donte's effort on the play was still lacking.

3. Donte has been getting burnt all year long. Donte is an undersized corner who needs to improve his technique and rely less on his speed. He has been found out as nothing but a fast guy and teams are taking advantage of it now.

I thought he did good last year, same as everybody else. He faded down the stretch but that's not unusual for rookies.

This year he's just been getting worse as we go along. And venting publicly like this shows poor judgement.

A certain high profile CB from Jacksonville also showed his dislike for his former cb coach while he was playing (hint he is our new interim HC)
