Lol. What a poo storm this team has become. Do you guys remember way back when we were a playoff team with a bright future?

P.S. I don’t want a poo storm, but at this point laughter is the only way to keep sane while watching a guy get his first career catch for us with a 93 yard TD.

I thought they taught how to tackle in Pop Warner.  Sure didn't listen did he.

Here were Donte Jackson’s full comments on the two TDs, for context.

Should have learn to tackle in HS...He has had two years to learn how to tackle in the NFL.  Blowing off his responsibility.  Time to fire his but.  Might help him grow up.

he really reminds me of Norman. and he's a year younger than Norman was his rookie year. hope he matures and someone in the locker room can get through to him because he has so much potential.

Let him take his so call talent somewhere else.

Or maybe the coaching staff had confidence that he wouldn’t get burnt 1-on-1 vs a no-name wr? Either way, I doubt that mistake gets made again.

He got burn many times over the two years he has been in the league.  Remember last year in Pittsburg the first snap and how they burned him on a fake hand off.  No he doesn't learn from his mistakes.

This is about Jackson being concerned about looking bad.  It's not as if this single play determined the outcome of the game.

Hey, I get that you might be upset that Rivera was fired, fine, but don't sell your coaches out to the media.  That's poor.  You are a pro.  Act like it.

Also, the season is toast.  This staff was quickly shuffled around in a few day's time.  Cut your coaches some slack.  Perry Fewell's job responsibility changed a heck of a lot more this week than Dante Jackson's did.  Jackson needs to worry more about the job he is paid to do and quit ridding the cases of the coaches whose responsibilities changed drastically overnight just a few days ago.

The entire team can't tackle.   Even Luke has look pedestrian at times this season.     The coaches should have expected more and practiced more.

I have been very disappointed at the yards after contact this year.  The Panthers have been poor at getting 11 guys to the ball.

DC might be but DJ is a lousy DB and needs to be cut after what he said.

Nah, he's a young corner who has shown upside.  I'm not glad he said it, but it is the truth.  Eric Washington is a crappy DC, should never have been a DC in the first place and certainly should never have been RE-inserted into that position after he failed so miserably at that job last season.

Fewell says he spoke with Donte Jackson and matter will be handled internally. Says he was “disappointed” that concern was aired out rather than brought to coaches first.

Fewell on Donte Jackson's remarks: "I've spoken with Donte. We'll handle that internally."
