In my opinion, Hurney has done an above average job this second time around. Perfect? No, but a far cry from what was happening when he got fired. That's all I'm focused on: the now. If you'd guys can't or won't separate the two eras, that's you.

It doesn't matter if you separate the two eras.

The team looks like sh-t right now. And no, it isn't all on coaching.

Dude, you're doing some gymnastics that Simone Biles probably couldn't handle.

If you have to go through this much effort to convince people that someone is good, they're not.

It's time to move on.

It's simple: When your franchise QB who happens to be the best QB in franchise history---if not best player---goes down, you go down. And that's before two other Pro-Bowlers on your D-line go down while amid scheme changes. Moreover, you're not going to have any kind of sustained success with a turnover machine at QB. Injuries and average to bad QB play and winning don't mix.

Lastly, it's not about whether I think Hurney should move on, it's whether Tepper thinks he should move on, and that is still very much a real possibility. I'm not going to cry about it either way. I think there are compelling reasons either way.

I'm sure Marty would love for everybody to believe it's that simple.

You think the O-line we've got is an example of good solid roster building?

What about how all those players we acquired for the defense? How are they looking?

What massive contributions are we getting from our players that were picked outside the first round?

And if the quarterback's health is an issue, didn't we know that in the off season? Wouldn't it have made sense to go after a solid backup?

You're basically just making excuses at this point, dude.
