Seems like it’s sourced from the Panthers. A tactical leak that lets other teams know he’s available but that it is not going to be cheap and we aren’t going to cut him. Let’s other teams prepare for that eventuality.

I noticed a lot of people talking about tanking. I honestly don’t think grown professional men would purposely tank when their livelihood depends on it. Could be wrong tho. But if a team I cheer for purposely does that, I’m walking away. I’ve invested my time, money and emotions watching my team play and if I see that, I will find another hobby

How are they non factual? For all we know the rehab process could have been going smoothly and took a sour turn (these things happen).

Trubisky has been lights out the last 3 weeks so that appears to be on hold. But it seemed like it could be a real possibility early in the season.

IMO anything about Cam is pure conjecture   That’s all it can be   I don’t care what insider leaks xyz to any web forum or tv show or this board 

with HIPAA laws, the only person who truly knows his situation is Cam himself and who he decides to share it with

Food for thought .... another point of view....as much as Tepper may desire change, one thing is certain, love him or hate him,  Newton puts butts in the seats and beer in fans’ hands...both our fans and opposing fans...   From what I’ve seen, the current qb roster does neither   We can talk about Luke  we can talk about CMC, but it’s Newton that makes Carolina sellable   That’s why I wanted oline instead of a too thin DE in the first rd of this year’s draft but  hey Burns has ‘bend’   That’s great   Really helped this year didn’t ?   I digress 

Common sense dictates unless there is a first round plus a pick or a player and or multiple picks which allows Tepper to get the QB of his dreams, or Cam can’t play which makes him no good in trade, then #1 comes out of that tunnel in BofA in September

Nothing story. If ANY team wanted to give up the farm ANY player, a team would be open to listening to the offer. Without any quotes or sources, that is all Rapoport is saying here. 

And as much as I would want a 100% fit Cam back under center next September, if someone wants to offer a king's ransom for him then I wouldn't be against considering the option.
