He will be 30 in the final year of his contract. I fear 2020 may be it for Luke as a Carolina Panther. Sucks but that's the nature of the NFL. There are few fairy tale endings.

Yup. It’s why when I saw we signed shaq my first thought was damn that might be it for Luke. We had a window with Cam and Luke. We almost won a super bowl with them. If you look at talented core’s around the league they usually have a window of about 2 maybe 3 years to win it all before everything resets due to cap, age, coaching, etc.

we wasted HOF talent because this organization couldn’t find good coaching or general managers to match with them. It fuging sucks.

If we're going to trade Newton, sign the worst possible QB so we can go 0-16 and draft a franchise QB in 2021.  I fear Kyle Allen is good enough to win a few games.

Is Mark Sanchez officially retired?

CMC is worth 4 Wins alone IMO. if they are going to actually try a rebuild Cam, Luke, AND CMC all have to go. could have 3 firsts and 3 2nds in the 2021 draft.

CMC is too young to trade at this point. He can still be considered the young core. Running backs do fall off the cliff after about 5 or 6 years but cmc has receiving value that those other rbs do not have. He’s basically the best slot receiver in the game as well as running back. You can extend him and still get great production out of him. So he’s 23 right now. With 2 years left on his deal which includes the 5th year option. You want a deal that will end when he’s 28. He can definitely be worth it.
