Massive overpay for a non edge linebacker who does not impact the game on a high level.  Even if he was one of the best linebackers in the NFL, I wouldn't want to spend 13 million dollars on him given how much we're paying Luke.  You don't build an elite modern defense through heavy allocation of cap resources into linebackers.

Def wouldn’t have paid that much for someone who’s never been an all pro in their career yet . Shaq is replaceable . I rather we gave bradberry this kind of contract . Would’ve made more sense

I've spent all week defending what a great drafter Hurney is, and still believe that to be the case, but Tepper really needed to take him off free agent duty.

You could have signed elite players at positions of impact for 13 million.

A non edge linebacker is the running back of defense;  a fungible commodity.  And he's not even a very good linebacker.
