shaq is low key playing better than luke this year. he can perform in a 3-4 and a 4-3 and plays in both base sets and nickel packages. he's the best pass rusher not on the DL and has no real weaknesses in his game.

13mil a year is a chunk of change but if you're looking to secure a framework of good players on which to rebuild this is a logical way to start.

WTF!!!!! This is the dumbest sh*t I’ve ever seen in my life. Tepper should’ve put a stop to this. We have no idea if the new coach will come in and even want the guy or if he’ll fit in a possible new defensive scheme. He was much better in a 4-3 too so if we go back to that it’s better but still way overpaid, and then also we have many 3-4 pieces that wouldn’t fit in it very well. Jesus Christ Hurney

need to know how it breaks down first

16 mil signing bonus

28 guaranteed are the only things that matter really

It's less than Dion Jones and way better than Bobby Wagner. It's honestly a better deal than Lavonte David's.

Of course I'm not really sure where to compare him to after this season. Obviously his natural position is WLB, so I compared him to other ILB and OLB who aren't edge rushers.

I think this looks like a pretty good deal tbh

you can fug around on spotrac if you wanna see the numbers. Remember, all that really matters is the signing bonus and the guaranteed money.

Remember when people were freaking out at how much we "overpaid" Reid?Watch, once FA begins you'll realize this isn't an outlandish deal. Shaq while not truly elite is an integral piece to our defense.

Reid was ultimately very overpaid. He’s a well below average safety paid like an above average safety...
