Panthers do not have a true rival in the NFL

Saints vs Falcons is a bigger rival than any combo of Panthers vs either team. Don’t get me wrong, they all hate each other, Maybe some years the Saints or the Falcons will have a heated series with the Panthers, but both Camps will tell you they rival each other more than the Panthers. 

The Panthers will have 2-3 year rivalries with teams like the Seahawks, or the Cardinals, or 49ers. 
 

Convince me otherwise.

When Tampa was good those were some real slobber knockers. Due to multiple coaching changes and FO mistakes, that rivalry is somewhat dead.

If its NFCS then the Falcons. They always find a way to beat us.

Outside of that I think NE, DAL and SEA are developing rivalries but years off. 

But yeah the Falcons-Saints is bigger. .

Saints are about as close as you can get. When guys are throwing punches at each other on the field that's a rivalry. We need to get back to kicking their asses.

Can’t argue with OP but I sense a NE rivalry for some reason.  Seems we always play a little harder against them.  Maybe not a true rivalry as  in Pats fans would laugh their asses off at the idea, but I do despise their cheating ways.

Panthers vs mediocrity is an intense rivalry. But mediocrity has had our number.

Is it a rivalry if it's lopsided? They've completely owned us in recent years.

It's just hard to develop true rivalries outside of your division unless both teams are top dogs routinely meeting in the playoffs. Regular season match ups are just too infrequent.

if you think about it, The Panthers are still the new kids on the block. While Tampa Bay was sucking in the north, the Saints and Falcons were sucking 10 years longer... it's a suck fest and still the best and toughest division in the NFL.

The Falcons Saints is bigger right now.  Because the Aints are good and the Falcons can beat them on occassion.  Back in our division champ years, our rivalry with both was bigger.
