I'm thinking the Falcons will probably hit a block in the road and that will be our opportunity to catch up. The Saints will probably falter at some point as well but they have the wins right now to take those blows and recover.

I don't think that the Cowboys and Eagles losses will hurt as much as the one to Buffalo will. That was a winable game and those are the ones that bite you in the ass.

If the Eagles win their division, the loss hurts us less. Head to Head is the first tie breaker. We gotta beat the giants down the road. We need the saints to beat the falcons, and then put up a fight against the saints. The saints will probably win the division, but we need to do just enough to knock the falcons down a spot and hopefully get second place. NFC West will not have a wildcard. To steal the Wildcard away from NFC North or NFC East, we must beat the Giants and we must beat Minnesota(strength of victory, also a common opponent with greenbay)

Bills loss hurts for fans, but it really doesn't hurt in terms of seeking a playoff bid as much as losing to the teams you will be competing with for those wildcard bids.

Figure this discussion is pointless unless the Panthers win 10 games, but if they do, they have to hope the Cowboys or Eagles don't.
