I'm looking forward to this, but you're kidding yourself if you think this is anything other than Tepper wanting more leverage over the city/county/state for a new stadium. This is also why Garth Brooks and other big baby boomer acts are coming to BoA next year: he wants to say that the stadium is more than just a Panthers thing: it's for MLS and big concerts too. And that IS a smart strategy.

• Downsize BOA to about 30-40k seats for soccer.
• Or let them use BOA until the new Panther stadium is built in SC
• People will pay 3x what a Panthers ticket would cost and fill the stadium to see Garth Brooks over the Panthers
• It would cost a lot less than $120M to demolish BOA once Tepper builds the new stadium in SC
