Can someone explain this to me?

The first round of the draft is where the best are picked right?..........or at least those who are considered the best choices for their potential in the NFL based on position and such.

Of course there are some busts but I'd venture that a group of players that go in the 1st round will collectively see a much higher degree of success in career productivity in the NFL than the a group of player picked collectively representing in a much later round of the draft..........

If that is the case what great ability is it for a GM to be a good 1st round draft picker?

Would not the real value of a GM be that person who can find talent buried in those later rounds?.......and if that is the case what makes Hurney so special because he can pick some from the obvious talent pool in the 1st round?

I don't get this unless someone can explain further............I'm all ears.

Valid. But Cam needed it. He's not a strong speaker. Or writer. It's not everyone's strong suit.

Frank Luntz should go work for Donald Trump.

Cam can speak just fine when he isn’t trying to fit what a certain demographic wants him to be.
