Did you not understand what he said or am I missing something.

I understood. He said that of all the days he has been in the NFL, the firing of his coach is effectively the worst. Worse than when he had the one chance in his career to win a SuperBowl and didn't.

Damn, there are some complete idiots posting in this thread. You know, the types who you overhear walking into the stadium and thank your lucky stars you don’t know them.

Basically the “Cam done costed us one Super Bowl cause he didn’t jump on that bawl” crowd is also the “well hail, Rivera ain’t done won nothin’ so hit don’t matter what the players thank”

Maybe, but rewatch the play where Cam doesn't go for the ball and tell me you are not wondering WTH?

IOW I don't think they are connected. That Cam play stands all on its own.

The BRONCOS ruined the Cam we once knew in that game.  He really has not been the same since.

Can't really disagree but jump on the damned ball.

Edit, to add: I haven't held a grudge ever since, about that. I just saw the play on a 2015 Panthers thing on NFLN not long ago. It was more glaring on re-watch.

My beef with him, that I really haven't forgiven, was his words and attitude leading up to the game. He was really extra cocky as I recall. Gave those broncos a lot of fuel. Shut up and play the game. Then talk.

Newsflash: the Panthers are not the first locker room to shed tears when their coach was sent home.  They will not be the last, either.  In fact, there are going to be a lot of tears shed in locker rooms the coming weeks.

Part of the reason for that, and it is something you generally hear out of players afterwards, is "we let him down."

This does not bode well for Tepper.

I kinda agree. But we are rebuilding now so most of these guys wont even be here for the next coach anyway. I cant wait for everyone who wanted rivera gone to cry when we lose all of our good players. It is what they wanted...
