nope that piece of poo and all of his enablers should be made to feel like the scum that they are imo. unlike you i’m glad that the story broke, that those “settled cases” made the news, and this “private matter” was entered into the public record.

Your false assumptions are showing. I'm perfectly happy the story broke, even though it caused me to lose respect for someone I had a great deal of respect for prior. Poor behavior by people in positions of power should always be exposed, however, you will note that no criminal charges were filled against Richardson, and to the best of my knowledge the harrassment cases against him were settled, making the settlement and any details of it a private matter, AS THEY SHOULD REMAIN OUT OF RESPECT TO THE VICTIMS.

Not every instance of boorish behavior deserves exhaustive public scrutiny long after the fact (exactly what you're attempting here), and history has shown that where powerful people are concerned, more often than not dragging such things into the limelight ad naseum beyond exposing initially the poor behavior is most often detrimental to the victims, who almost always have their lives turned upside down and often destroyed through no fault of their own.

As has already been mentioned by others in the thread, Ron worked on the other side of the stadium from the business offices. It's likely he had little to no involvement, but if he did, as a civil, not criminal matter, it is none of your or I, or the Huddle's concern, especially since Richardson no longer owns the team and Ron is no longer our coach.

The only question is, do you have the decency to show respect to victims of sexual harrassment and let the past stay in the past when their complaints have long since been settled to their satisfaction or does your own need to constantly throw poo and impugn the character of people you don't like who most likely had no involvement outweigh even that?

what would you do if you knew?

I really don’t know. I know if this happened at my job I would go to HR and it would be handled. But most everybody knew. So I guess the next step would be to go public. But yea looking back at his “this one is for mr. Richardson” breakdown if he knew about it is a really bad look.

when I said he’s a good dude, I looked at it from a mentoring young guys, and all the players who have commented about what a great human being he is perspective.

We're really gonna make the man stand up in front of a bunch of reporters and answer questions about his own firing...

If I had to do that I think I'd be tempted to answer every question with either my right middle finger or my left.

I hate this idea.

Millions and Millions of dollars.  Yes, you would do it.

National media I just watched on NFL network. People are acting SHOCKED. Keep saying how highly respected this two time coach of the year is and how quickly he will get a job and why we couldn’t wait until the end of the season to fire such a decorated coach.

6-10

7-9

12-4

7-8-1

15-1 With one of the greatest single season qb performances in nfl history

6-10

11-5

7-9

5-7 with two of the worst losses in franchise history to seal his fate.

I just don’t get it.

That's QB#1 resume as well, no?

Not really. They’re legitimate questions about his “legacy” with the Panthers. The truth hurts sometimes.

You could throw that same accusation at every single person in the organization, players, coaches, front office, administrators, etc.

It's a pointless barb because we have no idea what level of involvement he had. If that comes to light at some point that he did have involvement, sure, he deserves the scorn and public humiliation associated with it. Until then, maybe give the witch hunt a break on something that we have no idea that even occurred?

Qb1 plays one position and controls only one position. Rivera coaches the entire team and is responsible for in game decisions, time management and who dresses each game. i don’t think we need to go through each game of his tenure to show how mediocre he has been at putting our players in the best positions to win.
