I genuinely believed the players played for him. His biggest strength as a HC was building relationships with his players. While letting him go is the right thing to do for the future, I doubt you’ll hear anyone saying much bad about Ron. On a personal level, I really think the plays loved the guy. 

I bet it will stng for Falcons and Saints players the most. They've gotten used to the 2 w's they get every year.
