You were right I was confusing Jim Tomsula with Roman. I don’t want an offensive coach. Because offenses wins games but not championships. But I’d be willing to give him a shot.

Superbowl before last had over 1000 combined yards.  I think the phrase "defense wins championships" is starting to show its age.

But here is Sportslines odds

Notice McCarthy 2nd on the list.  Interesting considering the news that his name has been circulating in the building for a few weeks now.   And has connections with Tepper.

harbaugh walked into a roster that was stacked at san fran.   he's a complete douche.  they have more 4-5 star recruits than osu and can't do crap against them.   0 player development happening at michigan.   no way.  he sucks and his schtick is played out.    go ask michigan.

MATT RUHLE.....This might be a David Tepper kind of guy.

From New York & Played at Penn State.

Tepper as we know is very close to his home state of Pennsylvania.... Steelers &  University of Pittsburgh

A lot of things the more you look at him that make you go...hmm interesting.

It's going to be hard to find a career upgrade out there, no lie. No matter how the last two seasons have gone, there's big shoes to fill in one of the most competitive divisions in the game.

There's a good chance that Rivera's next team will be relevant before our team will be. But, what was done had to be done.

The same huddle will tell you that Harbaugh's SF was stacked

Will also tell you that Kaepernick was the worst QB in the NFL and doesn't deserve a roster spot on any team

So how were the 49ers stacked if they had a quarterback so bad he doesn't even deserve to be a backup as their starter?

Harbaugh/Roman took Kaepernick to the Superbowl, and they were a bad endzone call away from winning the whole thing

So you either think Kaepernick is a very good quarterback in his own right, and that we should sign him for next year (I happen to think we should).

or that Harbaugh was such a great coach who hired such a great staff, that he was able to get a terrible quarterback that close from winning the Superbowl

Which is it?

Yeah but he likes to yell and scream and stomp his feet and act like a baby throwing a tantrum on the sidelines, so the mouthbreathers in the fanbase will love him who hated Ron for his professional demeanor.

the kinda sad thing is, he's had that 'invincibility cockiness' beat out of him, and now it just seems like he's a lifeless robot who realizes he's not as good as he thought he was.

Jim Harbaugh is a weird weird weird dude...on the Michigan All or Nothing he was just a very odd person...but his NFL record of 44-19-1 and everyone here is 'hell no'?  Do we want to stick to being mediocre and guess at an unproven college coach? Because Harbaugh has shown he can win in the NFL and you stick your nose up at a winning coach who didn't get along with management with the 49ers.

If Tepper had his sites on McCarthy he wouldn't have had to pull the trigger on the Ron decision now.  He wants an opportunity at one or more of the college guys first.
