I'm furious at Tepper for humiliating Rivera and his family by firing him mid-season

Guys act like Ron hasn't been a newer version of John Fox this whole time. Thanks for THREE good seasons and 6 terrible ones. I've been over the conservative style of his for some time. He's not the first to get fired mid-season and Tepper won't be the last owner to do so.

Tepper has a business to run. If firing Ron with 4 games left for not getting it done is what he feels he needs to do, so be it.

how do you know Ron wasn’t part of the decision?  

If Tepper told him he was going to move on after the season, Ron may have elected to step down now and give some guys on his staff a chance to audition for future gigs.  Also gives Ron some time to reflect and collect his thoughts b4 the 2020 season.

Its probably more likely than your “threw him out with the trash take.”

The only way he had a chance of staying thru the season was if Washington wasn't just a 2-win team and if Washington didn't have an interim head coach themselves.

You lost to a 2-win team and got out-coached by an interim.

Right? Other teams fans on reddit have no clue, they just hear "Riverboat Ron" and think he isn't conservative. The Panthers gave him an opportunity when no other team would. He lasted here for quite a while....got experience, two HC of the year awards, and a SB appearance. He will be fine and will be a HC again very soon.

Nothing lasts forever and this was inevitable. Getting replaced during the last part of a sh%t season or one month from now is irrelevant. I'm sure he gets it and people get fired all the time...everywhere in every line of work. Life goes on.
