Pipe dream. If Quinn gets fired in ATL and Rivera took his place?

Yes I realize this has very little chance of happening BUT I personally would love nothing more than facing Rivera twice a year every year. Game plan would be simple, let them march down the field for two easy TDs and have them go up by double digits, then sit back and watch the magic unfold. I mean while highly unlikely, not impossible. Assuming Quinn is gone, you have to imagine the thought of sticking it to his old team twice a year and not having to put his house up for sale and move would be rather tempting for Rivera.

Yeah, why in the world would he want to work with one of the guys that enabled him to achieve his greatest success?

True, 2013 & 2015 were some of our greatest seasons. We were lucky in 2014; starting off 3-8-1, finished 7-8-1 & won division since everyone else sucked ass.

But seriously, after watching the stunts Gettleman pulled in '16 & now with the Giants? You really think Ron would want to go through that again?

Hell, I don't know if the Giants would even be interested.

But do you think Ron is gonna have his picks of gems when he starts interviewing for other head coaching positions?  I posit that he will NOT and the best he will be able to do is use "connections" to (maybe) get another shot.

And if you can make it there (the Big Apple), you can make it anywhere (as my Ol' Blue Eyes would say).

    • Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?
    • Full disclosure I responded to this before fully reading the whole post. As if I had, I’d have laughed at you saying you haven’t seen a full route tree from him, as that’s EXACTLY what he has in his bag.  That right there just shows you haven’t watched him at all outside of the downfield highlight reel plays.  He already runs a full NFL level route tree, at all 3 levels.  As I’ve said numerous times before, XL is the big bodied possession guy, while T-Mac would be the true outside #1 who can do it all and a perfect compliment to XL.   Want to draft someone else all you want, that’s totally fair.  But don’t try and say he’s just a big bodied WR who lacks quickness and can’t run a full route tree, as it’s just the furthest thing from the truth.     And it’s okay, after you watch some more clips, you can admit that you were wrong and I’m not showing my own bias towards him.  It’s not like I’m advocating for someone who should be a late 1st rounder or even a mid 1st round pick, this is someone who’s been mocked as high as #2 by a lot of experts lately. The kid is a stud and he has every tool in his bag that you’d want an outside #1 to have.
    • My perfect offseason at QB would be trade Bryce, sign Lock (experience with Canales) and draft Ewers in the second or late in the first
