If Scot 100% believed CMC was all Gettleman's idea, he wouldn't have made that post......... he also brought up JR forcing DG to sign Matt Kalil. Hello - Gettleman defenders use to say this to absolve DG of that mistake.

This is what Scot does when he has highly controversial opinion. He makes it not very clear that it's his opinion. Just like him stating his knowledgeable cowboy friend believed DJ Moore will be a bust after a few poor weeks into the 2018 season.

See, some of us are actually capable of discussing what other people think. We're also not slaves to the idea that you have to have an opinion on everything or that you have to try and be Miss Cleo to have a discussion.

Now mind you, if I do have an opinion on something, I have no problem saying it. but if I'm undecided, I have no trouble saying that too.

For example, there are people right now saying that Ron Rivera will be fired. I agree with that.

There are people saying that Marty Hurney will be fired. I think that's likely, but not as definite as it is with Rivera.

There are people saying that Cam Newton won't be back because of contract issues. I think they're right, but I also allow that things could change so we'll see.

And finally, there are people who think David Tepper will be a meddling owner. My answer there? I don't know. It's possible, but I don't think we know enough to say for certain either way.

Actually he didn't.

He mischaracterized what was written, something he probably would have had an easier time getting away with had he not quoted the actual post. since he quoted it for me, it wasn't necessary for me to dig it up to show that he was reading it wrong. as it is, he's now having to go with the desperate strategy of suggesting that I meant something other than what I actually said.

Stupid, but what else is he going to do at this point? 

So no, that's not a "win". It's actually closer to him shooting himself in the foot.

You mean as opposed to the hundreds of times you have blamed JR for every bad contract Hurney signed? Because that has been brought up(Kalil) wondering why DG doesn’t get that same pass? Or is it only for Hurney. 
 

And for the record, as I’ve said many times, DG is 100% responsible for Kalil. I don’t care if anyone told him to.

Correct statement.

Being a yes man is also a personal decision. Nobody's put a gun to anybody's head.

Hurney is responsible for his transactions, and Gettleman for his. If Richardson interfered or mandated any of it, they still had to agree to his doing so.

Why would you state that theory if you were 100% happy about the pick? You of all people would never give a hint of credit to JR for a good Gettleman acquisition.
