Time to Sign Kaepernick

Put your emotions to the side. The QB pool is horrible. Kaepernick has most upside and would be an instant upgrade over Allen. Heck im about to suit up.

There are only two reasons I can think of why anyone would want Kaepernick:  A. You are a non thinker, too lazy to think. (You choose to let others think for you) B: You want to promote his political agenda over your favorite team's success.

Even if Kap is not the most accurate passer, he's one of the best rushing quarterbacks in NFL history with extremely long glides.

When he was paired with Greg Roman, SF had an explosive and unstoppable offense, that we are seeing with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.

Although he's getting older now, he has never had a significant injury, and has no real mileage on his body.   He would still be able to run like he always has.

His struggles in SF that led to him getting benched were due to the fact he was trying to be a pocket passer with new coaches who couldn't scheme him.

If you hired Greg Roman to be head coach, or someone similar from college ranks, you could create a worse version of the Baltimore offense, but still deadly.

Sign Kap, run him into the ground with read option for a couple of years before we find someone younger.

I read the OP  and a few first page posts............ but if you Think KA is the reason we lost to the skins......well your a either just plain ole dumb or a Newton Nut hugger.    KA did not win us the game either, but the majority of the blame goes elsewhere.  2nd half dropped passes.   Paper thin to  non existant run defence......yeah I'm calling nut huggery on this one.  I just got to do it. Can't wait for the offseason and a reset.

Hire Greg Roman as head coach, sign Kap to a cheap veteran deal, and draft Jalen Hurts in the 2nd round.  Run the Baltimore offense.

The old pocket passer mentality is not a winner in the NFL anymore.

Look at all the top quarterbacks left in the NFL.

Lamar Jackson, Watson, Russell Wilson, Mahomes, Dak, etc.  Kyler Murray is next.  None of these guys are your old breed of conservative quarterbacks.  Time to go with the future.  I can't find one single 'traditional' quarterback who is under the age of 35 that is doing well this year.

If you think Kyle Allen isn’t the reason we lost, you’re a KA nut hugger — but we already knew that in this case
