Will Tepper let his brass balls swing tomorrow?

Just listened to Ron’s presser..

The guys “did their best” and that’s alright by Ron. I’m also so tired of hearing about how the other team plays too. I really don’t see any point keeping him for the rest of the year. Let Perry, Scott, or Norv take over....who cares are this point?

I don’t think that’ll happen until the end of the season.

But if they’re seriously considering Scott Turner for some sort of capacity down the road, now would be the right time to evaluate him in the interim role. I have no reason to believe they are considering that, but I’m just speculating like everybody else.

I think if you’re going to make a change, you need to blow the whole goddamn thing up and go ahead and start over. That means the coach and GM. And the entire staff. Now, I keep hearing Tepper really loves Marty, but who knows.

Seriously, nobody knows.

I think all the stink needs to get washed off. Sure, that'll mean losing some quality folks but those folks will get picked up elsewhere quickly. We just need a fresh start.

Theres no reason not to go ahead and start the process.

Any coarches worth a damn cannot be tampered with until after their team has finished their season. Also do you think any great prospects would want to coach for this franchise if we fired our respected coach of 9 years in the middle of the season? Have some class and wait until after our last game.

I always hear that there’s no benefit doing it mid-season, however, it happens every year. I don’t buy it.

We just got beat by a team that let their head coach go.....I get for them it does not really matter if they won or not but its basically the same position we are in now.  Let the guy go FFS....it would make the majority of the fan base happy.

That is very scary!

Probably.  I would be very surprised if Tepper makes a change before the season ends.  I think his impromptu press conference made his future intentions clear.

Just a thought here.  I do not think Rivera has had the opportunity to work for a competent GM. Would have made a difference IMO.

Would that help him manage in game scenarios better?  Or play a star rookie instead of a washed vet b/c feels?

no benefit to axing ron, and for all his mediocrity there's no reason to disgrace him. the season is already lost.

hurney on the other hand should be dragged into mint street in his underwear

No benefit to keeping him around either, season is over, no miracle finish and playoff berth. Been against doing it before the season ends but we might as well get a jump on 2020
