Is Norv Turner primarily to blame for all of our end of game fails on offense?

last year, norv with a healthy cam was brilliant.

this year it seems like they are playcalling scared, which is kind of a trademark of the rivera era.

this is norv's offense, but it's ron's team.

ultimately it falls on rivera's shoulders. he can give the green light or directive to punch the gas or to tap the brakes. seeing what i've seen over the years, rivera is tapping the brakes. that's just what he does.

Poor offensive lines are not going to win running the football 3 yards in....when everyone knows it’s going to Mccafrey or the fullback

if he could learn to Spread and quick throw on first , results would  be much better

but we keep doing the same things with the same player and wondering why it is t a different result

don’t care what anyone says but Paradis sucks and Trai is just glad to be here and we know the story in the rest

troy aikman said norm's whole philosophy is to get ahead with the pass and then slow the game down with the run.  or as we like to call it - take your foot off the gas.   rivera doesn't have to tell norv to do it, they're of 1 mind on strategy.

Makes sense.

Said it before, I'll say it again.  Goal to go situations favor whichever line wins at the point of attack.  This has been a serious problem for us all year.  When we are in the middle of the field we can do all the stretch / pulls to sort of hide our problems on the OLine.  When we get down close, you can't hide the fact that your line can't blow people off the ball.

I sincerely believe the decimation of our OL and Cam’s absence are the reason we’ve had red zone issues.

The thing is teams had to account for Cam as a running threat. So if we we’re in 10 personnel they have to have 7 in the box to account for the OL (5), CMac, and Cam. Now that defensive coordinators don’t have to worry about a threat of a running QB then they have more people on the perimeter to mitigate our passing.

Ever since the Superbowl loss to Denver, teams defensive strategy against us has been to man up receivers and blitz Cam. And for the most part, it's been effective. I believe it's effectiveness came from: 1. Cam holding the ball too long, looking for the big play. 2. Poor Coaching. 3. They didn't respect Cam's passing.
