..........Tampa needs a QB who can start day 1. So does Tennessee and that might be Cam. Tua will fall right into our lap. I will invest a high 1st rounder in a rookie QB who is coming off a dislocated hip than invest 19-35 million per year to an old QB that is coming off shoulder and foot injuries.

Cam Newton days are over. Fans can quit denying that. Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney are done as well. The new regime will not stay with Cam.

1: If Newton decides that he does not want to retire, Cam Newton will not be a lame duck QB next year. He has a family to feed and is not stupid enough to invest hurting himself again to lose more money in the next contract. The new regime will not give Cam that extension.

2: Cam Newton is Eli Manning. His good days are done with. People need to realize that now is the time to replace Cam. Just like how people should’ve realized that it was time to replace Eli Manning 2 years ago. I saw someone talking on a show last week. He talked about how instead of replacing Eli, NYG got rid of Tom Coughlin who was a good HC.

Huh??   So teams, Ten and Tampa, need a QB to start day 1 and you are suggesting that be Cam ??  A QB who has not been healthy for two straight seasons now.  Any team, and this includes the Panthers, are not going to go into next season with Cam as the for sure starter without a real back up plan that would include a starting caliber back up .. otherwise the risk and gamble is to big to go into a season with just Cam as the only potential starter.

Of course you will disagree, but nobody is trading for Cam and going into next season with him as their only answer at QB.  The only question and any way Cam is somewhere else is if he gets released by the Panthers... THEN any team will only sign him with contingencies and an incentive laden contract AGAIN because he has not been healthy for two seasons.

Unfortunately for Cam he is not getting a big next contract until he shows the ability he can still play.

So you want two injured QBs? You are going to have to carry four QBs now. Allen has shown enough to be kept. And we are not going to cut Grier.

I have no problem cutting Grier or trading what we can get for him

Hell I'd have no problem doing that with Allen either personally

Apparently you just woke up from hibernation and hasn’t paid any attention to any Cam news. Go back to sleep
