The stench of last year's losing streak is still all over this team

The Panthers have still not recovered from last seasons ass-beating by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Losing has permeated the walls of the stadium and the bloodstreams of the players. Just like last year, the team was blown out by the 49ers after a nice winning streak. Despite a 1 game reprieve against the Titans, another bad losing streak has followed. The current losing streak includes an absolutely embarrassing, inexcusable home blowout loss to the lowly rival Falcons.

The Panthers have already lost to every single division team this season, and faltered against the NFC elite in the Rams, 49ers, Packers, and Saints.

Instead of finding ways to win, this team has gotten good at finding ways to lose. Murphy's Law seems to be in full effect after Sunday's heartbreaking loss.

How does a team exorcise these demons and rid the stench of losing? The answer is simple: Win. Win games, especially the tough ones. The Panthers have 5 more games to fix this mess, or the only thing left to do will be to burn the carcass of these Panthers until the stench of losing is gone.

I can tell you, David Tepper has his torch ready. Many of the Panthers reporters have noted his anger and frustration with this season, and it's safe to say he might be ready to bring in an entirely new staff for a new decade of Panthers football.
