Gaulden gone

Wait, are people really this upset about missing on a third round pick? It's common, more often than not, that third round picks are misses.

If the Panthers were releasing a first or second round pick I would be a bit miffed though. Which looks likely with several players this off-season.

They are all excuses. Yes or no? That’s the only fact in this. Besides the FACT that drafting Gaulden was a mistake that no amount of excuses will change. So what am I missing? Not the same excuse, just another version to justify more incompetence. Pretty I got your point yesterday and today.

No.  They aren't.

Like I said.  I am seriously questioning your reading comprehension.

Sigh we all banged the table for harrison at this point. Hell Mark Andrews has been killing it. Noteboom has been a starter. Keke counter tre Smith for the saints, Hines for the colts.. Deshaun Hand will dissly... we could have thrown a dart at a random name and came away with a better pick than Gaulden. Wtf did Ron and co think this slow foot guy would be anyway.. reports earlier were that they loved him..

No. At round 3 your still potentially looking at week 1 starters... possibly day 1. The area your talking about is about round 5.

You're really gunning for the defensive poster of the year title.

My luvee isn’t about to be fired for continued incompetence displayed his entire career. Everything that’s happening was predicted, and blasted over the off-season. Now you’re grasping for a glimmering hope. I’d say you could root for Marty’s new team, but we all know that will never happen. A FACT that you, and others, ALWAYS ignore when brought up.

  So about those picks.......

You need to look up the statistics. This isn't a debate. Most third round picks, especially late, do not make it long term in the league.

I'm not arguing about longevity, I'm talking about expectations and impact. It's rare a 3rd rounder is dumped so early.

I mean, it's his second year and it's a reactionary move by a coach that's out of options. Ron is floundering right now.

I would say about 1/2 or less third round picks are on the same team by year three.
