Our team prefers to run the ball when we get into the redzone. Story of the Carolina Panthers. It's why Steve Smith's TD numbers never looked great.

That may be true but it doesnt make 10 TDs for another player less impressive.  Just pointing out why it's a close comparison even if Moore has a few more yards

After they drubbed us last week I saw many fans saying we clearly made a mistake picking Moore before Ridley. At the time It seemed like a reasonable assessment. Not knowing much about Moore before the draft I to was in the Ridley camp. He was a bigger name and put up superior (speed) combine numbers.

After listening for weeks leading up to the draft to the talking heads,I came away with the impression Moore was the superior route runner and a yac beast. Year one Ridley made it a easy 1-0 his favor and I thought To myself I knew it, the Panthers found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again.. I mean only we could have our choice out of any wr in the draft and come away with second best.

This year I believe it looks closer than one might think. Ridley hasn't slowed down his production but moore is picking his game up. He looks stronger period at the point of attack and after the catch. Ridley is still give him a crack and he's gone fast. Moore didn't have a bad 40 time but, him getting caught from behind is starting to vex me a bit.

I do believe Moore makes more happen with less, but does Moore benefit from wr 1 targets or does having Matt Ryan and Julio Benefit Ridley by drawing the lesser of 2 defenders and single coverage more often?

What say you...

Moore had a better combine...:liar:

I thought he did too, which was a big thing in DJs draft process.

Once he showed up bigger and just as fast it put to rest questions about his size.

He must be talking about Ridley's 3 cone, which is the only combine number that could be better than Moores

I also liked Ridley more coming out.

But I think they really wanted a WR that could excel at the underneath routes and make some easy completions to Cam. So with the 2 being similar in talent DJ fit the scheme better.

Ridley has had a better situation around him (QB and Julio) while DJ has had to earn everything himself. I think this bodes really well for his future development.

I put speed on parentheses. Yes 3 cone, Overall Moore did with all workouts and drills.
