We need a new kicker that's not Gano or Slye. Slye got the job because Gano couldnt play and was IRed. Which is better? Historically Gano but that means nothing this year or next year, by default Slye is better this year because he is available.

It's time to draft or sign another one and see if we can get a kicker good enough to not lose games and stay healthy enough for a couple of years.

It's relevant because in what people often referred to as his best year, Rivera frequently balked it taking tries of 50 plus yards due to a lack of confidence.

Joey Slye was a career 72.9% FG kicker for 4 years at Virginia Tech.

Joey Slye is a career 73.1% FG kicker in the NFL.

This is the epitome of consistency. What, exactly, were you expecting?

Gano is coming off his best 2 years at around 93%. He missed 3 FGS and 2 were 50+. He is no Robbie Gould but he is a decent kicker if not expensive.

That guy's post would make sense if he said we punted from inside the 40. No team is attempting FGs from the 40 to 45, unless it's the last play of the half.

This. As I’ve stated in the past, this franchise has been spoiled with the K position and most of us expect perfection when in reality we have done very well despite a few blips.
