Hes a great athlete and good with the ball in his hands . He needs to work on attacking the football with his hands and not wait for it to perfectly drop into his lap. I still think he can be a decent wr 2 or 3...team has bigger problems than wideout

I was a huge Samuel supporter when we drafted him.  I haven’t given up on him yet.  But he and Kyle have to get better chemistry.  That’s obvious.  

But Samuel also has to make catches when he is supposed to as well.  I agree Kyle has missed him a bunch.  But he also has a part in the issue as well.

Majority of deep balls which should be what Samuel's bread and butter isn't cherry picking. Even the deep pass to moore today he had to slow down for come on.

I believe this number one or two receiver is a bunch of crapola.  That being said, DJ is a very good receiver, who could eventually be one of the best in the league.  And I would be pissed if we spent another first round pick on a receiber.  We need players in other areas.
