You aren't wrong but a lot of GMs are like this. You can throw a dart at first round talent and find something great. Rounds 3-7 you are hoping that lightning strikes or you get s development project.

Check out the 2014 draft. The first round had 17 pro bowlers.  The third had one (Trai Tuner!).  4-7 had two.

  Daryl Worley started almost every game he was here. Gaulden has played 1 snap since week 1 and can’t beat out Colin Jones and Cole Luke or anyone. Big difference.

This coaching staff have proven every year they don’t know how to evaluate talent. Esp their own talent . So that’s not saying much
