This fan base has absolutely checked out of this season in a way I haven't seen since 2010

What is their really to be vested in if Cam is not coming back at full health next year? If that is the case we are setup to suck for a few years to come while we scramble to find a new franchise QB. People don't want to watch a team lose week in and week out they at least want some semblance of hope that things would get better soon.

On top of this we don't even know if this is the same song and dance from last offseason with Tepper and this FO might still be here next season.

There is just a ton of uncertainty around the Panthers right now. We have a new owner who really hasn't started to put his fingerprint on the football side of this organization so no one knows what that will look like. We have a GM and a coaching staff who appear to be lame ducks. We have a franchise QB who has been riddled with injuries and going into the final season of his contract.

Virtually everything about this organization right now is one gigantic question mark and no one knows what to make of it, so a bunch of people are just checking out until they get some clarity on the situation. That's just my take on it.

I think for me I'm just exhausted. I've been a Panthers fan since I was 5 in their first season and since then I've absorbed a disturbing level of useless knowledge about everything NFL. I've noticed the last 5 years I've increasingly lost interest in football, this year was the first time in 20 years I didn't even care to do fantasy football.

It's exhausting seeing my team roll out 75% of the time having no chance at a Super Bowl and feeling cheated the other 25% when it's either the Patriots, Steelers, big market/money teams or a feel good NFL season story winning. It's like watching a movie you've seen hundreds of time knowing how everything will play out. Just sucks that I finally moved to the Charlotte area and can easily attend games but I really have no passion to, don't even mind if I miss the first quarter on tv.

With the exception of 2016, we are usually competing for playoff positioning at this time during the year. Even last year we were still sitting at 6-4 and controlled our own destiny. At 5-5 we're not mathematically eliminated but it's an uphill battle and we need a lot of help.

It will be really interesting to see if that happens.  The only person I know who actually let his go was forced to do so because of financial struggles.  I'm not sure if he was able to sell them or not.

I know I know several people with psl's and they have all said they are ready to let them go because it's just not worth the price of the product that's being put on the field.

A few years back people could pay for their entire season selling a MNF game or a SNF game. Now that we have been so mediocre it's rough. Really giving them up isn't an option but people are not buying them because they are only getting a seat for maybe 5 or 6 years. I feel bad for what they are going though and basically both JR and Tepper not injecting any excitement for 3 years while hiking prices.

Attendance is down at the stadium.

But all the tickets are sold and the stadium will dutifully announce their (insert number) consecutive sell-out game in BOA. So, regardless if no one shows up, the ticket revenue is still realized.

The Denver Broncos host the league's longest consecutive sellout streak, but they also publish the number of no-shows- something Carolina will never do.

Look around you. Attendance is down at the stadium. Conversation on here is down. WFNZ is getting less Panthers calls. It's really just the hardcores left playing out the string. Pretty sad. Feels like we're at our lowest point since late 2010. At least last year when we were losing 100 games in a row, we were still thinking we were going to have a healthy Cam back in 2019. This year? Outside of McCaffrey, there is absolutely nothing I'm invested in.

People want to see Cam, not Kyle Allen. Also most of the fanbase at stadiums comes from visiting teams. With no Pittsburgh or Green Bay at home, we won't attract fans from Houston and the like. I'm pretty sure more people stopped coming last year when the collapse started.
