This fan base has absolutely checked out of this season in a way I haven't seen since 2010

I'm only excited about the potential of a new coach and changing poo up. I'm fuging done with the emotionless defensive minded coaches. What's Ron's "It is what it is?" fans made him a moniker of Riverboat Ron and at first he hated it, but then he ran with it and profited off it and now he's wanting people to call him analytical Ron. Give me a break man, so done with the mediocrity and it stems from the head coach.

I'd throw in one other thing when it comes to our leadership...

It was generally understood that this season was a make or break year for them. All expectations were that they'd be in "win now" mode because they needed to justify Tepper keeping them.

And this is what they produced.

Do you really want to see what these guys can do long term?

Heaven knows I don't.

Life is tough, family and work life is and can be very stressful and depressing. The last thing anyone needs is to watch a team they follow be in the toilet.

Who wants to sit down on a Sunday and watch their team lose season after season? Who blames them for being disinterested and not give a damn.

I warned of this in January.

Another year of the same would diminish the fan base in a big way and why Ron should have been fired then.

Hopefully, Tepper learned his lesson.

Imagine yet another year of this crap.

Yup.  The one thing that I said would be tough to overcome by keeping the status quo....fan apathy.

Annnnnnnnndddd....here we are.

Lemme make it worse...

One of the things that didn't get as much press from the informal meeting was the Tepper admitted it might take a period of losing in order to get the team to the point of being a perennial contender.

Don't know about you, but that screams "rebuild" to me.

And if that's the case, then my first question is who's going to be in charge of it.

Someone new. Someone offensive minded. PLEASE GOD no more defensive minded  head coaches.

Do not bring in other teams trash head coaches and hope they can do better. (like the Bengals Marvin Lewis)

Yeah, it’s going to be hard but in this league it takes some bad seasons to get the tools to build a champion. If he doesn’t bring Cam back, it’s going to take years to rebuild.

I think the idea of a rebuild pretty much assumes we're gonna be without Cam.
