I'm just speaking the truth. It's not really a surprise Allen and almost everyone else not named McCaffrey is doing terrible now. It's because we have hit the hard part of our schedule. Now people are panicking or just want to prove Allen is horrible because they got butt hurt when he was successful against mediocre teams.

You’re speaking your truth

Wow I was just kind of poo talking based on what I see on Sunday’s. But you have provided literal stats that confirm this nightmare.

Tonight feels like a whiskey night.

You want to improve the QB position?

Improve the offensive line.

Improve the defense.  Give him more shots and don't ask him to try to make plays down 2 scores.

Not saying Allen is great, but I am saying that you cannot evaluate the QB position without mentioning all key variables. To think Grier will be able to overcome these things is insane.

This is a debate that's been whispered around the edges of some of the other discussion, but I thought I'd go ahead and speak it aloud.

If the Panthers were eliminated from playoff contention (a serious possibility at this point) would you want to play out the rest of the season with Will Grier as the starting quarterback?

Some have pointed out that we'd have nothing to lose by seeing what we have in him. Others have suggested that you take the risk of giving him David Carr syndrome by sticking him behind our current offensive line.

What's your take? Would you give him a shot?

Do you believe Ron Rivera would give him a shot?

If Allen stinks it up again yes, we should see if our third round pick QB is better at protecting the football going forward. Being afraid of ruining a QB like Carr is just...cowardly if you are serious about evaluating what you have at the position.

This week Kyle Bailey had a guy on his show who said he noticed Grier was off the sidelines for an extended period during the 2nd half of the Falcons game....

....his thesis was Grier was back underneath the stadium warming up.

Ultimately Grier didn't get in but this guy (whose name I don't recall) is of the opinion Grier is closer to getting live game-reps than most people think.
