5 players who deserve more snaps.

I think Rivera is and should be gone after this year.  But the narrative that he doesn't play young players is false.  We have a long list of players who have started during their first season for us.  You guys will pick some fourth round pick who looked good against third stringers in preseason as proof that he doesn't play young players, but the reality is quite different.

Burns has pins in his right hand and can only line up on the right side because he can't plant his right hand. In addition to still having pain in his wrist.

Once the pins are out you will see him get more snaps.

Him punching the ground in that one game really screwed up his DROY year big time.

QFT and basically killed our defense as well. Kid was a monster before.

I like Burns, but on the Dum Dum Scale that stunt ranks right up there with Heath Shuler head-butting himself into a concussion.

To be fair people peruse the board at different levels of attentiveness and involvement. I doubt I’m as dialed in as Mr. Scot or Linville Gorge or probably you.

Also, it’s not like there’s been some huge overriding topic of endlessly nauseating debate around here lately that could cause other info to get lost in the shuffle to those not actively combing through every thread for info.

I'm not dialed in.

I have cable.

Certainly a bad one man....he screwed himself about as bad as you could....I don't imagine this is in the coaching play book.

Yeah, I'm still really high on Burns. Sucks he busted his hand punching the ground, but hey we've all done some stupid poo like that at one point or another.

I’d love to see more Armah, and run some 22 personnel. If we are running the ball line up in offset I or Twins and beat the wheels off. No sense in keeping a FB on the sidelines. I get trying to disguise sets, but sometime you just have to line it up and beat them in the trenches. That would at least slow down the rush.

That's on Norv. Two years ago we were complaining about how Rivera split time up too much with the running backs. That was Shula. For those of you with short memories and havent picked up on how the different offensive coordinators have done things.

I was complaining about how we dumped so much of our salary cap into two RBs. Not that they shared the load.

Yeah, it seems like we're still trying to run an offense that relies on having a legit franchise QB. Kyle Allen throwing the ball 35+ times isn't a recipe for winning. Now I get it, when you get down big your hand is forced but why was Kyle Allen throwing the ball 43 times in the snow in Green Bay in a game that was pretty competitive throughout?

We should be running an old school pound the rock and live off of play action in the passing game type offense. Our current offensive strategy fits neither our QB nor our OL and it's no surprise that both are struggling mightily.
