None of this was reported by the media

guess they were focused on the other side of these things

To be fair, things like who sings the national anthem are almost never reported because they happen at every game. I think when it’s something special like salute to service it might be nice if they mentioned it, but I don’t think anyone was deliberately ignoring it.

im in agreement that there’s no need to make this political.

Do we have to make this political guys?  I mean dadgum.

According to some it is political when the NFL “mingles” with the military.

I wasn’t trying to make anything political. This board speaks for itself when you have one solid post like this with 15 other separate posts about Kap that all have the same information. That was my point.

It’s like the news. You’re going to hear about all the BS 99% of the time and they might sprinkle in a good deed done in the community to sweeten things up. Most of the time it’s just the BS though.

Yup. Gregg Easterbrook, who works at a Washington think tank and writes the football column Tuesday Morning Quarterback has pointed out that the headline you’ll never see is

”Things slowly getting incrementally better across the world for most of humanity.”

Although this is what is always happening. The biggest bias in all media is towards sensationalism. If it isn’t attention grabbing you tend not to hear about it.
