I would honestly like to see if Thomas can do well split into the slot as a TE. Agree his blocking is crap, but with the way the NFL is shifting towards more passing with each year, TEs that can block are going to be less important with the decreased run game.

Turner has effectively neutered Thomas & the offense by not playing him.

I would bet he can be a TE1 just based off the second half of last season if someone put a gun to my head. He's likely going to improve on blocking. Olsen did.
