Why blame Marty?

Marty put together a pretty solid roster given the limitations with the cap. 
 

This season is on the coaching staff. I expect Marty to be back

Never said it wasn’t a gamble. I would have too. But I don’t have a lick of medical information, and results are what matter. And the results sure aren’t average. I’m not the GM. If I was I’d be accountable.. I do have the same amount of offers from the other 31 teams this century as Marty does. So that’s cool.

In 14 seasons under Hurney we're a combined 102-116.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I think this season is mostly on Ron.    Most of this board felt the moves Marty made in the offseason were good, so let's not pretend.    I will agree he whiffed on getting us a QB with experience but I feel Ron probably told him we're fine with what we have.

Ron is the one who continues to get outcoached and not use pieces correctly.   I think the handling of injuries more specifically, Cam, was handled terribly as usual for this team.

But, when Rivera is HOPEFULLY kicked to the curb you have to send Hurney packing as well.    We need a culture change and Hurney and Rivera are just too tied to Richardson and the old mediocre guard.    It's time to move on.

I think it's impossible for Cam Newton to ever be 100% again.

I think it's been shown, time and again, that Marty Hurney has no clue what he is doing with the offensive line.

Marty KNEW he had a broken down Cam Newton last season, and this season, and still can't even come close to figuring out how to put together even a decent O Line.  It's past time to for him to be put out to pasture......again.

The oline hasnt been as awful this year as you claim unless d williams is in lol. I think cam can get back to early 2018 health wich is still elite, would work for me.

The Daryl Williams that Hurney (you are defending him in this very thread) signed in the offseason?

What exactly have you seen over the past 3 years that leads you to believe that Cam can get any kind of healthy again?  What world are you living in where Cam suits up for this team next season without an extension?

Do you peddle in hopes and dreams in your real life?

Well what i want to happen wont keep us out of contention for god knows how long...yall want a complete tear down and rebuild well i hope you dont get what you wish for because by the time we are good again luke will be old and who knows if cmc will be here.

Early 2018 6 and 1... If you dont want Cam back you want this team to be irrelevant for years to come, you dont remember what its like to not have a franchise qb apparently.
