Why is Reid talking about Colin after this embarrassing loss?

You are 100% correct...."not everyone" shares that opinion.

However, a very large portion of the Carolina Panthers ticket buyers do so....

If what I'm suggesting is inaccurate what other reason can you provide for Tepper not signing 'Fro Bro?

Fro bro? Really? This is the type of poo that got you banned last time. Please keep it up

Final Thoughts - I have been to several other team forms. Pathers and Rams, etc. They all have a CK thread.

The one thing that stands out is, they become political. People start discussing the tryout but, then they start discussing politics. I just think that this is not the proper forum to discuss politics. There are proper places, times and forums to discuss politics.

USA is probably the only country on the face of the earth, where you can protest, reasonably safely. US government will not shoot you, run over you with tanks, or make you disappear. I would respect CK if he were to pull this stunt in a different country.

CK made a choice. The choice was to insert politics into the game of football. We watch football to be entertained. We want to escape the stress of day to day life, including political issues. CK decided his cause was important enough to, "force it" into the game of football. Politics is a highly emotional subject. And CK destroyed the, "Escape" from day to day life. (The escape called Football.) He divided Players, Owners and most importantly Fans. He probably did more harm to his message, than good.

I think people started looking for the "Escape" in other sports, programs, ETC. People who stayed started talking about Politics. (A very heated subject.) The NFL ratings clearly went down.

Now he returns. The NFL sets up to allow him to try out at the Atlanta facility. But, the tryout gets changed. It is my opinion, he changed because he wanted the press. It appears to me he wants a public stage more than a tryout. He has an interview. He claims he should put on a team. Is he saying, "The NFL should force a team to accept him?" I don't know.

But, once again, we are discussing, "Politics" When we discuss CK's ability, somehow, the subject always becomes politics. (And in many cases, Heated.)

I understand being frustrated at a 5-5 record.  ½ fans are calling for CK, NOW! The other ½ are saying, NO WAY!

Like us, the Panthers want to win. But, will CK play to win or, will he push his political views.

It is a risk, I for one, would not want to make.

I've said all along, Reid is more interested in Colin than even his own career.  There's friendship and then there's some scary sort of infatuation.  This goes way beyond friendship and is almost cult-like.

If you want to see some scary sort of infatuation with someone, look no further than your and several others' incessant posts about Eric Reid and how you think he should live his life.

Call your coke dealer when someone rob you.

Well I don't have one, but since you implied it, did you know the cops are under no obligation to help you if you do call?

It's why I have several firearms. Granted I have to be extra careful since my wife is white & my son looks white.

Not sure if intentional or not but you're coming off as racist. And you're alluding to some involvement with others that are the same.

I'm African American and I find this offensive. I'm not super hurt by any of it. I mean I was born and raised in South Carolina. But this is probably not the appropriate venue for your "opinions."

I know he was asked about him but damn, this team just got embarrassed by a 2-7 Cons team and are most likely out of playoff contention...LET IT GO

This is a microcosm of our problems this year. We aren’t focused on football or winning games. We are focused on everything else.

Sup with all these code name nick names.. who calls him" fro bro".. why not call him " shoe shine" some other indicator nick name I mean wtf is that..

It's just a nickname lol.  The fro is something to behold and clearly he's proud of it!

"shoe shine" isn't relevant in any way so just stop.

You have just made my point.   Whether you agree or disagree with CK is a moot point.

Politics is an emotional heated subject.  We can't have a football discussion about CK, without debates.

Do you want a new QB that is dedicated,  or do you want a new QB who will, potentially,  bring politics to your team?

If you are a person who thinks, not feels, the choice is clear.

Nothing like wearing  that tee shirt or whatever it is in the panthers locker room with QB1 out, qb2 having issues and the team getting its ass beat

as for the reporters asking him about it, I’d saying wearing that shirt guaranteed it

I'm sick to death of hearing about Colin freaking Kapernick  he isn’t on the rister  he is not going to be on the roster and here lately, sorry I supported Reid being on the roster

Reid, do the up job the panthers are paying you to do and that doesn’t include being your buddy’s mouthpiece   Your fixation on this is borderline obsession

He's the 22nd ranked SS in the league and 51st ranked DB... Personally, I'm not sure he's worth it. I sure haven't seen him be a "difference maker". His biggest influence so far is with the media... Yeah, and it's funny how certain people here can't see the potential issue with Reid putting THAT jersey on in that moment... It's laughable.
